No. Concierge practices usually charge a high annual retainer on top of billing your insurance. Direct Primary Care is simpler: one flat monthly membership, no insurance billing for primary care, and a small panel — capped at 300 at — so I have real time for you. At Thrive, you always see me, not a rotating team.

At Thrive Family Health, membership is $85/month for children (under 18), $130/month for young adults (18–29), and $185/month for adults (30+), plus a one-time $150 enrollment fee. That flat fee covers your primary care visits — no copays or per-visit charges.

Membership includes comprehensive primary care services such as preventive visits, sick visits, chronic disease management, women's health, mental health support, well-child visits, sports physicals, simple in-office procedures, and personalized health guidance. My goal is to provide the majority of your everyday primary care needs through one accessible, trusted physician relationship.

Do you accept insurance?

No — Thrive Family Health does not bill insurance for primary care. You pay one flat monthly membership instead, which keeps care simple and transparent.Your membership is designed for primary care. Health insurance—often a lower-cost, high-deductible plan—is still recommended for major medical needs such as hospitalizations, surgery, specialist care, and advanced imaging.

Do you accept Medicare?

Thrive Family Health does not bill Medicare or any insurance for membership-based primary care. Medicare patients can still join as members; please contact us to discuss how the membership works alongside your Medicare coverage for services outside the practice.

Can this work with my current insurance plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many patients pair their DPC membership with a lower-premium, high-deductible insurance plan. Your membership covers most routine primary care needs, while insurance remains in place for larger or unexpected medical expenses. This combination can make healthcare feel simpler and may help reduce unnecessary urgent care or emergency room visits.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds for my membership?

Some patients may be able to use Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account funds for part of their membership fee, depending on their individual plan and eligibility.  Because eligibility varies by plan, please check with your HSA/FSA administrator or tax advisor. Supporting documentation is available upon request.

What happens if I need labs, medications, imaging, or specialist care?

Your membership includes thoughtful guidance and care coordination. When labs are needed, discounted cash-pay pricing is often available and may cost less than using insurance and applying the charges toward your deductible.  If a biopsy or Pap smear requires laboratory analysis, the specimen is sent to an outside pathology lab, and any laboratory charges are billed to your insurance. Imaging, specialist care, or other outside services will receive referrals and guidance through the next steps to help you choose the option that best fits your medical needs and budget.

Yes. Thrive Family Health is a family-centered practice, and it's a privilege to care for patients through every stage of life. From children and teens to parents and grandparents, the goal is to build long-term relationships—because when your family is known well, care becomes more connected, personal, and meaningful. Although immunizations are not administered at Thrive Family Health, families are directed to convenient, trusted community resources for recommended vaccines.
